Live Show! 'Instructions for American Servicemen in Britain'

An absolute must see live theatre production
brought to you in conjunction with Creative Arts East.
Our stage will host this wonderful production by Fol Espoir, a critically-acclaimed theatre company that creates exciting, accessible, and thought-provoking entertainment.
Running Time: 95 minutes (plus interval)

It's 1942 and a horde of Yankee servicemen have just arrived in England - where the locals speak a strange dialect, boil all their food, and talk endlessly about the weather.
The Americans see the Brits as a strange race. Get ready to judge for yourself in a night of joyous laughter and downright silliness as a crack team of experts attempt to explain the rules of British life. A rib-tickling show for all ages.

1940's Themed Dance Night

Beccles & District Lions Club invite you to dance the night away to Joey London's Chevron Disco sound, PLUS! 1940's Singer Miss Scarlet Black.
A 1940's Themed dance night, so be sure to come along in the dress of the day.

Short Mat Bowls

Short mat bowls is an indoor sport in which players attempt to score points by rolling a heavy ball along a fairly flat surface, to gain as many shots as possible by getting their bowls nearer to the jack than their opponents, and so outscore them. The game is a modern variation on lawn bowls, from which the game is derived.

Julie Ash Dance was formed in 1991. Julie's popular classes available at Wortwell Community Centre are both Tap & Ballet and Tap & Disco classes for Children across various age groups, plus adult Aerobics.
